Women's Resource Agency of Colorado Springs

How You Can Help

Mentor

Who influenced the course of your life when you were in high school?  The Women's Resource Agency is looking for role models for the high school InterCept women. A day of job shadowing, a short presentation, or an hour of conversation over lunch is all it might take to help a young woman realize her potential and help her decide what kind of education to obtain or what career she wants to go into.  Contact us for more information.

Monetary Contributions

Donating to the Women's Resource Agency helps women, both young and old, identify their strengths and achieve their full potential.  All of our services are low-cost and many are free.  Your tax-deductible donation allows us to help women help themselves gain self-sufficiency.   Contact us for more information.

Donate Goods

Businesses and organizations can donate a variety of goods including food for camp or monthly "pizza parties" (it doesn't have to be pizza!), flowers for the graduation ceremonies, beauty products for gifts, office supplies and more. All donations are tax deductible. Contact us for more information

Dear Sponsors/Funders,

Many girls in their teens are out having sex, doing drugs, or getting into fights; they don't have overall character. But we do. Before InterCept I knew nothing about overall character. I learned how to think before I act and to look before I leap. I think every girl in InterCept has learned how to work as a team. We all made new friends. Our leaders helped us do things that we had to work together, learn about other people, and have new experiences. You could help, too. If you sponsor us you could help girls just like me. Make a new friend.

 Sincerely,

An Eighth Grade InterCept Girl
