Donation Guidelines
Clothing can be donated at our boutique located at 750 Citadel
Drive East, Ste. 3116. This is in the Citadel Mall, upper level,
just outside J.C. Penney's.
Our designated donation day is usually the 2nd Saturday of every
month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please call 471-3170 to make
sure the donation day has been scheduled prior to bringing items
to the boutique.
Donation Guidelines
All items should be in excellent condition (no tears, stains,
etc.) and should be cleaned, pressed and on hangers, ready to
wear. Please contribute only those items you would feel comfortable
wearing to an interview yourself.
We accept the following:
* Business suits (skirt suits and pant suits) - particularly
sizes 16, 18 and 20
* Jackets and blazers
* Skirts and slacks
* Blouses
* New pantyhose (sealed) and new undergarments
* Gently worn dress shoes
* Scarves, purses and jewelry
Sorry, we do NOT accept:
- Clothing in bags or boxes
- Ripped, torn or stained clothing
- Sweatsuits
- T-shirts, jeans or shorts
- Men's clothing
- Children's clothing
- Opened pantyhose or pre-worn undergarments
- Sandals or platforms
- Used cosmetics
Financial Donations
Dress for Success Colorado Springs cannot fulfill our mission
without the generous donations of clothing. However, financial
contributions enable us to make monetary payments for our monthly
rent, utilities, telephone service, etc. Financial contributions
are as necessary as clothing donations. No donation is considered
too large or too small.
Dress for Success Colorado Springs Donor Privacy Policy
A donor's personal contact information will never be sold, rented
or exchanged with other organizations or any other entity in existence
unless Dress for Success Colorado Springs receives written permission
from the donor.
