About Women's Resource Agency
The Women's Resource Agency is a non-profit organization aimed at helping women attain and maintain
self-sufficiency. Our individualized services are designed to help women identify and expand on their
existing knowledge, talents, skills, and strengths usually with an end of economic independence.
Our mission is to help women of all ages attain and maintain self-sufficiency. We do this through individual
planning & consultation,classes, groups, a career corner, a school program and more.

Original Mission (1972)
- To recognize that women have different needs at different periods in their lives due to the discontinuity
of the education - work - marriage - child rearing - work cycle;
- To recognize the worth, dignity, and potential of women and their ability to contribute competently and
meaningfully to society;
- To recognize that women should be encouraged to choose from among a variety of life patterns in accordance
with their individual needs;
- To recognize that women have a need for continuous personal growth and development and for life-long
education within a rapidly changing society.
